    Gearbox ID help

    Hi all,

What does this 911/01 tranny number 770 xxxx mean? (on my C serie 1970)

Could it be a special gear set instead of the Classic 710 xxxx?

    Thank you for helping

    Cheers
    Fred

The type # 911/01 should dictate the serial # series. So, the gearset should be the standard set for that type #.

Both 71 and 77 are valid series, I do not know the different yet.
