    Steel wheel widening shop recommendation

Hello - Can someone recommend a good shop to widened steel wheels. I'm located in the San Francisco bay area. Came across Stockton Wheels but read a lot of negative feedback on the place.

I'm willing to ship them out if there is a strong recommendation. I called Harvey Weidman and he is testing a new place for this service but it's going to be a while until he knows.

    Many thanks.

I used Weldcraft here in Michigan on some steelies. They seemd to have done a nice job and they've been around forever.

If you like a real good guy, in CA, call Eric Vaughn. He did my weld-ups on my deep 6's. The wheels came out great. Office #:

I'm not sure if these guys do steelies or not. They are about a 1/4 mile from my house.

Thanks for the recommendations. I send an email to Weldcraft and see what quote comes back. I'll contact Eric Vaughn and Kosman Specialties too.

    Cheers!

+1 on Eric Vaughn, he make me a pair of 7R from deep 6 and he also machined they outer lip to remove all the picking : The wheels are very nice, excellent workmanship !! (and for almost half of the cost of Harvey...)
