    Porsche Eye Candy Beyond Belief

Canepea Design is located in Scotts Valley, near Santa Cruz, CA. They have an extraordinary collection of vehicles, especially Porsche. Take the tour, check out the inventory. 911R, 914GT, 962, 935 and on and on. This guy must have more money than Gawd. Quite the inventory.

This place is down the road from me. Bruce Canepa has been trading and racing cars for over 30 years. He certainly does well, but is simply a smart businessman and a car guy -- not a minor deity. Most of the cars you see belong to Bruce, but many on the sales floor are on consignment taking advantage of Bruce's superior contacts and marketing acumen. His customers have very fat checkbooks, but my experience is that mere mortals are always welcome in the showroom, the museum, and the shop if they're car guys.

Wasn't Bruce the guy that federalized 959s?

Love the open grand prix cars too.

According to my dad, Canepea Design has the exclusive rights to federalize 959s. Some great motor shots of a 959 - looks like a spaghetti factory.

Looks like I will be heading down to Santa Cruz sooner than planned since Bruce extended an invite to tour the facilities.
