    Correct early seats?

Are these factory correct 'inserts'? I know someone interested in these but the pattern looks not right. This shop is close by to me. I just wanted some feed from the experts before I tread further. The black vinyl looks 'old' repro and definitley not houndstooth.

    A little too pricey though.

    Seats

    1) IMO, the seller does not understand what houndstooth really means.
    2) Never in my 6 years around Porsches and searching for seats have I ever come across seats with this pattern of inserts.
    3) Just look at the bottoms. Does that look like it is 40+ year old material.
    4) This has already been discussed once on here or the bird. But since the seats did not sale from the last auction, I see that it has been relisted.
    5) I think he is aiming for the fence for $3,600 for standard seats with no identifiable pattern.

I'm no seat expert, but those do not appear to be original to me.

And the price, even if they were stock "normal" seats....
