    SWB Parts

I finally picked up the 67 912 Race Car (quick - whats race car spelled backwards) I bought a couple of months ago along with a boatload of various parts. I will be dismantling it and selling off most of the parts. If anyone could help ID the front fenders for me I would appreciate it. The rears have some sort of fiberglass flairs in them that have some bubbles appearing where they were bonded in. The rear seat area has been cut out which I underestand is common on track cars. It has some starnge Recaros that are bolted to the floor. You can see where the roll bar shoes were. The glove box door was wired with 3 toggle switches', presumably a shut off switch a fuel pump switch and something else. The rear engine threshold has holes for lightening drilled in. Has new Koni's and struts. A wild looking front shock base bar. Have no idea what other goodies lurk below or underneath. Could be some nice gears in the box. I'm keeping the engine and a few other parts for the 67 normal I'm putting together. Include some pics of my 67S front fenders for comparison. Also has fiberglass bumpers (R syle in the Back), a pair of real talbot mirrors, lucas and cibie head lamps, 356 Zenith Air Horns, neat Porsche lug nut tie downs, rubber lid tie downs and check out the panoramic rear view mirror. Haven't seen one of them since the 70's. No prices yet but I will post the 911 stuff here first and the 912 and 356 stuff on Samba and the 356 Registry first. The last thing to go will be the shell, sans fenders. doors, hood wiring, suspension etc which would make a great base for a race car or a R clone. Will come with title and COA (Gulf Blue car) and all the undercoating has been scraped off and is free of any thing other than some surface rust.

When you decide on a price I'm interested in the Talbots.

Those Lucas lights were the hot ticket for the 61 Lotus Elite I owned a while ago. I'm sure there are lots of British car guys who would love them.
