    Wink Perfect NEW "Cibié Covers"

I've received the Cibié covers made by René (no affiliation, except we both live on the old continent). I just thought it could be helpful to provide the forum with a first impression.

I don't know where or when they will be sold, but they are very close to the originals I have, and are actually even better...

As you can see the original had a simple rectangular sticker applied to the face, while the reproduction has the logo carefully stenciled on.

The details and logo on the straps are perfect. The reproduction strap is longer than the original which still means a sturdy fit, but are much easier to mount (the original one is on top, or is it?).

On the car, they fit really nicely "within" the chrome frames. They don't have (yet) the patina of the originals but are very very nice:

Rene sent me a pair of straps for my NOS covers and they are fantastic. Thank you Rene!!!! A great improvement over the Speedo straps.
