    Rs hood support diy

Thought I would post my little project. As we all know the OEM hood shocks are marginal at best, add the weight of Cibies, you need a broom stick.

The RS hood support parts are still available from Porsche, about $40.00.

Just position, mark, drill, bang head on edge of hood really hard, stop have a beer. Come back place four screws, drill two holes for retaining clip, screw in, whola, a hood that stays up.

    Tools: 1 Screw driver, 1 Drill, 1 Sharpie, 1 hour, 2 beers.

Very nice. Pelican and others have the carbon fiber Seine systems alternative, no holes to drill, works well.
