Wanted: real 911 2.7 RS, project or daily driver

A friend is in the market for a real 2.7 RS (72-73). Condition should be either a project or a daily driver that could benefit from a restoration. He has a realistic price setting in mind, he used to own one.

Please contact me if you have one, know one or saw one advertised.

    Thanks,

    richard

Realistic as is in he knows what they go for when done.

There is no reason to state a price since it all depends on what is offered.

To get things straight, his intention is to have done the car himself to his own wishes therefore the car should not be too nice to take apart. A RS like that he owned till very recent.

I hate to be a trouble maker (or the VIN police for that matter) but the VIN stamping on the Gulf Blue 1059 car from the link above is not Factory correct. It is not even close.

Not to say there isn't a legit reason for it, but someone should dig really deep on this one prior to buying it.

Is it just me or are those welds in the above picture really poor?
