FS: 1970 Service Information Book with Service Bulletin

For sale is a Porsche Factory Service Information book with attached Service Bulletin for the 1970 model 911T, 911E and 911S. What is remarkable is that the Service Bulletin is still attached to the front cover of the Service Information Book. This document is in excellent condition and I would consider it to be of collector quality with intact binding. There are a few ever so light spots visible on the loose end of the pages, not on the cover, back or inside pages.

The Service Bulletin “F 6/69” is 4 pages dated August 28, 1969 and trimmed in green. It states that the 911S with simplified equipment “will not be exported to the United States” and includes a listing of chassis, engine and gearbox numbers by vehicle type and body maker (Porsche, Karmann).

The Service Information book itself is 64 pages plus a fold out wiring diagram and includes new features, specifications and repair instructions for the 1970 911’s with details for each model including many graphs and tables.

Sent a PM response. I have to bow out.

This is entirely my fault and not to reflect on Dixon in the slightest.

    Good luck Dixon.

The Service Bulletin and the Service Information booklet were issued to “To all Porsche Service Shops” several months (6/69) before the new model year vehicles were available. This was also well in advance of any update to the Factory Service Manuals (burgundy binders) for the new models. This is the factory issued publications used to provide:

“The important modifications, new features, specifications and repair instructions are all contained in the enclosed “Model 70 Service Information booklet.”
-From the 4th paragraph of the Service Bulletin-

The 64 pages of the Service Information booklet are loaded with graphs, tables, detailed model changes and repair procedures for the 1970 911 T,E & S.
