    FS 5 Deep Six Fuchs

Deep Six Fuchs Price: $2500 + shipping from FL.
    5 matching number deep 6 Fuchs, off a 71 911T.
These belong to one of my racing buddies and other than 4 being powder coated purple (a race thing) they are in very good shape. Tires not included.

You can get it off, but MAN, it ain't easy and the chemicals are NASTY. From Wikipedia:

    Removing Powder Coating
Methylene Chloride is generally effective at removing powder coating, however most other organic solvents (Acetone, thinners, etc.) are completely ineffective. Most recently the suspected human carcinogen Methylene Chloride is being replaced by Benzyl alcohol with great success. Powder coating can also be removed with abrasive blasting. 98% sulfuric acid commercial grade also removes powder coating film.

Depends on the media - you have to be pretty aggressive with the grit on powder coating and this typically doesn''t treat the underlying aluminum well. I prefer the chemical treatment to soften it up, then use softer media to remove the compromised coating.

Yes, many different ways and I think Harvey can remove as well. And they are not chromed undernieth either, they looked just like the spare.
