This was buried at the bottom of our "Tail of the Dragon" thread, and one of the guys thought it merited its own thread. Thanks Bill (aka "Michael Schumacher" in his starring role which can be found below ... polo red driver of peachy 67S ... our own WilyWilly).

Here is the movie that I made
It was an RGruppe/E911S get together which brought people from Boston (my co-driver, Paul), the Island of Rhode, CT, NY, PA, GA, SC, NC, TN and others ... and hopefully you will discover some of them on this movie.
It was a handheld effort, with my flip camera, which held up really well I think. Its about 28 minutes long, but hopefully you will get a taste of what it is to drive the "tail of the dragon", aka 318 curves in 11 miles.
While we logged 2000 miles or more, it was definitely worth it, and more so for the people that we met rather than any other reason. A great bunch of people and hopefully we can encourage more people to come on some of these roadtrips or longer daytrips over the rest of the year. If we can drive from NY/MA to TN, in cars that are made for such trips .... hopefully we can get larger turnouts for some of the more local events. Vic and Tom were great organizers, and thanks to Jim/Adele for their gracious hospitality in putting us up, on the way down, as well as to my other co-drivers Mark/Lisa and Fred/Cass, who made such great road companions.
