RSR / ST mfi pump tensioner "kit"

We just completed making a run of these. If you own , or are building a replica ST or RSR with mfi, then this is what you need to help finish detail the engine.
The threaded pieces (banjo, spade, and hollow bolt, are Chrome moly, the hex stand is stainless steel, the hex centered adjuster is anodized aluminum, and the angle plate and spacer will be plated in gold zinc, or silver cad (your choice) . Not shown in the picture is the jam nut for the adjuster. This will work with either oil fed or stand alone oil supply in the pump.

These are limited run parts and very high quality. We are offering a few sets at intro price of $899.

Are you supplying as part of your kit the mounting plate with rubber bushes the mfi pump actually sits on, when using a support bracket?

    Hi Mike
I don't have the specs for that set up, but would be happy to duplicate them to make the kit more complete.
The price posted is without the bushing set up you describe
    Thank you

It is Crawford Composites glass kit. Nicely molded, BUT as it comes untrimmed or fitted, it makes for a very time consuming, if not pricey install.
Still they have the amber tint , unlike the current european offerings we've seen that are clear green

I have often wondered what kid of tolerance these pumps have for belt stretching. I guess they were concerned enough to put them on their race egines. I just wonder why they didn't put a spring loaded pulley instead.

I am curious how you loose the foot to rotate it.

What effect does a stretched belt make on such a critical timed devise?

Are you sure about the bush mounting on the end of the bar where it joins the pump? On all the supposedly originals I've seen it's the same at both ends, a round forging for the bush as pictured in these examples.

That's a detail that I had never noticed. It's interesting to think that as the factory wound these engines up more and more, they had to add structures such as this to keep the whole package together at high revs. Thanks for sharing the info.
