I am not selling, but I would like to hear why you are limiting your search to 70-71 model years.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Tom:
My bet is an LWB with the 2.2 engine and carburetors. More juice than a 2.0
'69. Easy maintenance. You can really screw with one of these and not really hurt the originality very much even if you do punch it out. Carbs are carbs! Sleeper time.
Jashford (still) has a 2.2 T that looked pretty tame in it's day. He could run low 13's (I saw a timing ticket many years ago) and liked to beat up on muscle cars. He also liked to beat up on everyone else when it came to Auto-X too.
BTW; the displacement was somewhat north of 2.2 and the gearbox had to be rowed quickly!
Best,
Tom

First and only time on a drag strip. Bracket racing, didn't have a clue. You had to declare the time you would run and not go under it. They stagger the start based upon the difference in your declared times. Lost to a Plymouth Duster if I recall. One run and done for me, but it was fun

That's the one! Dang, John. You REALLY don't throw anything away do you?
How about the muscle car kid that "thought" he was racing you from stoplights before you finally decided to show him how it's done and laid waste to his ego.
I recall: (You) "That's a nice car you have; it's a shame it's so slow"... (is that about right?)
Best,
Tom
