    WTB: 15x6 fuch wheels

Ok so I've been on the fence about what wheels to put on mu 69T. Original wheels were steelies and I was thinking of widening them but decided to keep them original. I don't really like the steel look now so I've decided to go with the classic look and put on some 15x6 fuchs.

Looking for a nice, non concourse condition set preferably date stamped 69 but I'll take what I can find at a reasonable price. Let me know what you have. Deep six would be great and is period correct but they are $$$ but let me know if you have a set anyway just to temp me

Someone local in the San Francisco bay area would be great!!

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

I've been using the steelies and would like to have a set of fuchs but i've been diverting funds to other projects on the car so the fuchs will have to wait.

I'm trying to be very patient and hopefully it will pay off with a reasonable set of shallow or deep six.

sled9146 - do you have a set? Let me know.

    Cheers.

    Fuchs

Yes, I have a full set of four Factory Fuchs 15X6, all dated late 1968. They are all straight, never been polished, painted, or repaired and all need to be restored to the finish of your choice by Al or Harvey. Finally, as requested, I am also local in the SF Bay area, Petaluma in Sonoma County.

Check with European Collectables. I was there in May and they had a couple of sets (deep six's), going price. I'd go for a set first, correct dates second.... if your keeping your originals. Good luck, they look great!
