    And a Couple More

Here's some more. I saw maybe 30 or 40 cars I would kill for, many just sitting outside. The owner told me to keep his idenity and location secret but it was all right to post some pics.

    The '65 had A/C?

    Is the convertible a Devin?

    Interesting stuff!

Yep. That one with the whitewalls and moons is on a Triumph frame and engine and he had another that had Alfa underwear in it. And yes the 65 had AC supposedly put in by the factory. Was unable to see very much because it was packed in a shed like sardines.

Thanks for getting all the cool details too, though the Daytona inspection sticker is way beyond cool!

Yeah I really liked that Daytona 24 sticker. It was on a 62 XKE that had an alloy front end. Supposedly it ran at LeMans too. It was jammed into a trailer so was real hard to look at carefully. Next time I go I'm going to try to get the owner to roll it out.

Here's a couple more. I really liked the Abarth Coupe it had RHD, a Maserati something (not a Ghibli) rusting away under a shredded cover and a Bugeye Sprite with a LeMans front end. The place was like a candy store.

    Bill,

A couple of interesting cars for sure.....

    - The Abarth is a 1000 Gt Bialbero
    - The Sprite most likely has an old Speedwell front end.

    Cheers

This cache wouldn't happen to be near Woodstock? That M1 looks familiar...

The '65 appears to have flares for those wide chromies, and that Sprite has what looks to be a real Sebring nose. The Speedwell is rounder with different marker placement and no center ridge at the cowl. The M1, racing XKE, Abarth, rotting Masers... how do you keep composure when wading through all that tastiness?

Whenever I stumble on a secret stash it's always full of the really good stuff: Renault Dauphines, rusting Corvairs, broken Fiberfab body parts. You know, the kind of find you get after being told some dude has an old racecar you should see, and under the chicken-crap covered tarp is a Bradley GT.

The M1 looks familiar but it is actually a Pantera painted like an M1 Procar!!! Strange.
