Removing seatbelts, and recievers from stock seats

I am installing repro Scheels ( thank you Bill...) and need to get the seatbelts off the stock seats, as well as the removing seatbelt recievers to use on the new brackets. Not sure how they are attached to the seats. I see the 4 allen bolts in the track, but do not want to remove any of them that I do not have to. The stock seats are in perfect condition, and want to keep them that way, just preserving them for the future.
    Thanks ,
    Martin

I remember having a tough time figuring mine out and I know I had to really squeeze the seat cushion quite a bit to pull it out.

I would highly suggest that you change your seat belt anchor from the seat to the floor of the car. I know that this would not be original but from a safety standpoint much more secure. Porsche itself made the change I believe for 72.

My '73 belts are attached to the seat. I removed the slides one time to get them off and don't remember any particular difficulty.

i had some special brackets made up to bolt the original receiver to the bolts that hold the side rail. Much safer if the rail lock fails.
