1968 Carb Linkage Plating Color

I am looking for proof the carb linkage on a 1968 911 is clear or silver cadmium as many here claim. I want pictures of original cars, below is a very early photo of 68 TR with gold cad. Any other early shots of 68 engine compartment?

On my car the bar had been polished so many times who knows, but on the supports one was clear cad and the other clearly had gold cad under the bolts.

The linkage on my '68 is gold, well, I guess mostly silver with some gold left on it.

I like the pic, is that really '67 or is it one of those Photoshop tricks on a modern pic?

The pic I attached is a 1968 TR car, no tricks or photoshop.

I was leaning toward the clear (see below) but before I make the last trip to the platers I wanted to verify the correct color with some other engine pictures from the 60's and 70's.

That's what mine looks like, mostly silver now, but it's clear it was gold at some point in time.
