    a bunch of us enjoyed a great weekend of historic racing in sydney over the weekend. here is a little taste of the action from matt's trained eye.

    You guys are killing me... I've been putting off building a 2.5 for my car and this certainly doesn't help...

    I think i need a cigarette and a nap...Pure SEX on wheels... Love it and thanks for sharing...

    Hmmm, maybe I need to leave this frozen tundra and move down under..

    I only intended to shoot some stills on the day. Im glad there was enough video for a little clip.
    Im planning on shooting a real short film, with Ryan's and a few other early cars. Cant wait

    What type of camera was used, because it really is superb quality shooting, as well as a bucket load of ingenuity thrown in? Very entertaining and much superior to what one usually sees in videos of cars and their engines. Great job guys.
    I guess it is a camera, with the video option, as opposed to a video camera?

    matt posted elsewhere "I shot all of these on a standard Canon ef 50mm 1.4f. Camera is 5D mk11. ". you are correct that it is a (stills) camera with a video option.

    like cars, putting a pro behind the controls makes all the difference.

    the still shots in satanic details thread are of a similar quality - the steering wheel / dashboard shot is a stunner.

    Thanks for posting the video link and stills....great shots and action. There is nothing like the sound of flat six on the track with race exhausts. The only problem is I wanted MORE on the track! You guys probably had lots of smiles over a few beers at the end of that day.
