Those early sway bar mounts were NLA last time I tried to acquire a pair of them for a customer's car. Just two days ago we made a set of repops using thicker material and then gusseted them for track use with a beefier bar.

I find that using the correct year mount for you car ensures that it fits the chassis correctly the first time out. I would try to locate the correct sway bar mount for your year car - from the photos in Ed's initial posting it looks like the mounts may be available again. Let's hope so...

Ed, it was good to see you last weekend; I hope the drive home went smoothly.

The Wevos just don't look right on an early car. They hang way down, too. I am skeptical if the rather "chunky" design is much better. There will be a concentration of stress at the weld between chassis and mount, just moving the problem area a little.

I am glad you got that original mount for my car when you did, Marco, if they are NLA now. The reinforced mount you put on is holding up fine.
