    1971 Porsche 911 T/E/S 914 914/6 service information

This one differs from the traditional service informations, it is a lot more concise and does not have the yellow cover. It’s not this particular one, it’s how they came. Also it covers all cars, unique to this year. My guess would be that there wasn’t a whole lot different between 1970 and 71.

What this has for the 911 are type designations, chassis numbers, engine numbers, engine types, transmission numbers, one page each, three pages fuel system changes/layout, three pages brake changes, wiring diagram for fluid level warning device, foldout wiring diagram for entire vehicle, two pages map for it, 16 pages total, (it’s actually 22, but if there is only one page of information the other side is blank). Then for the 914 it has Type designations, chassis numbers, engine numbers, engine types, transmission numbers, fuel injection changes 914, wheels and tires 914, body and interior changes 914 and 914/6, electrical system changes 914 and 914/6, wiring diagram 914/6, key to it, wiring diagram 914, key to it, all one page each, 12 pages total, (it’s actually 24, but if there is only one page of information the other side is blank).
The outside sheet is a bit dirty, I would bet that an eraser would work wonders. The binding is intact.

1972 911 T/E/S service information manual. It is 65 pages. Basically it tells what is new/different for this year, has a lot of charts/diagrams/photos, and gives some information on servicing the cars, notably the engine and transmission. Let’s see, there is technical data, a maintenance schedule and a list of new special tools for this year. It is fairly thorough, a great source of information as well as a collectors item. The binding is still intact, but I would use a brad to hold it together. It is in excellent condition, next to concours. I have the explanatory cover sheet as well, it’s a little beat up. Scans of that and the cover below, plus some scans of the contents. Please note, I did not force this one open to scan the pages, I had these scans already.

1973 911 T/E/S service information manual. It is 23 pages. Basically it tells what is new/different for this year, has a lot of charts/diagrams/photos, and gives some but not a lot of information on servicing the cars, notably the new/different things, and has a lot of technical data. It is in excellent condition, concours quality. Scan of the cover below, plus a scan of the first page, which gives a good explanation of what it’s about. Please note, I did not force this one open to scan the page, I had the scan already.

As always if you buy anything and don’t like it I’ll refund your money and pay you the postage to get it back.

I'm interested in the 1971 911 & 914 TI Bulletin. I do need to check and see if I already have that one, but I do not believe so. Paypal okay? If so, please PM me the details.

I would like the 71, if Bob passes.

    71 service info

I have two. I'm on an unscheduled business trip through the weekend, but if you want one it's yours. I should be back Saturday.

Then I will commit to one of them, Bob has the first choice if there are any differences in quality. I will hear from you.

I took a look in my Technical bulletins binder last night. My best guess is that the 1971 set is a cover page plus bulletins. The bulletins are to be separated into the 10 sections of the binder that correspond with the 10 groups of the parts & service binders. These bulletins convey new or corrected information. My binder is just the 914 model, and I know it has several updates past the 1971 MY. Here is a link to the pages that my binder includes:
    http://www.roadglue.com/forum/showthread.php?t=260
Included in my Binder are the various 914 Service & Training booklets for each year (but does not include the 1971 nor 1976 editions, 1971 may not exist, and I doubt strongly that the 1976 was made either)

    71 service

That could be. It's completely different than the other years. It is bound, the green cloth/glue. I have the same thing for 71 914 914/6 only, it's the only one I've ever seen. There is no 76 914 service info, no 79 911, either.
