    Alternator diffuser

    All:
I am reinstalling the alternator in my 71 and accidently removed a mark I made on the plastic air diffuser cone indicating the top. What is the correct
orientation for the diffuser on the back of the alternator?
    Thanks,

The two curved rails that serve to direct air towards #1 cylinder will be at approx. the 10:00 position
