    The Next Generation? . . .

    . . . . Toyota Celica GT-Four All-Trac Turbo

    $6500

Forgotten 90's-era rally-car homologation special. Not as famous as Audi's Quattro --- but more effective: 4-time champion ('90, '92, '93, '94) vs Audi's 2 ('83, '84). Toyota was the first non-European make to win the WRC Championship and this was the car that did it with. Stock tune is pretty conservative, but that's Toyota.

Maybe, but I personally don't think it's particularly good looking. Which seems to have quite a bit to do with value. A 2 headlight 330 Ferrari is worth more than the 4 headlight series 1 car, even though the series 1 is rarer.

IMO the next cars that are going to be collectible are going to be E30 M3's, (Since I own a great one I'm biased here), maybe unmodified Supra's once people realize how few are left, maybe even MR2's?

If current events force the supercars to go away, maybe an Audi R8 or 599 Ferrari?
