    Ride to Monterey - August 10/11/12

    A fellow enthusiast in need...

    I'm flying into LAX from Sydney for Monterey Historics, on August 10. There'll be quite a contingent of Aussies in town for the weekend.

    Wondering if anyone is driving via or leaving from LA on (ideally) the 10th or 11th and has a spare seat?

    Sure I could fly, or rent a car but I thought I'd put the request out there. If this fizzes, then I might just have to rent to Lowenbrau tribute car for the week ( what a hardship that would be!!).

    PM me if you can assist..... and if you ever find yourself in Sydney I'm sure we could arrange a ride to breakfast with the Sydney longhood brigade.

    Hi Justin
    i am driving up solo on Wed, the 12th with the evil cockaroach (my 914-6 )
    and staying in seaside (just north by a few blocks from monterey)

    As long as you are set with your own transpo and accomodations, once you are up there, you are welcome to enjoy some fun backroads on the way there.
    I will be returning sunday afternoon , after the last race . Usually the best one of the weekend

    oh, btw- if you are over 5' 10" you may want to consider riding with someone else; the 6 is a lil cramped for tall people
