Correct door hinge bolts for ´73

My ´73 (first reg. 10/72) has lost it´s original door hinge bolts.
I´ve searched this site, but found no definitive info about correct ones.
It was said that the bolts changed mid-72, earlier type being 12-corner type.

Any info / pics of the newer type bolts?

    Thanks,
    Mika

Correct door hinge bolts for ´73

Yes, evidently the type of bolt changed mid-72. I have both an early (600 something 72) and a late (1440 something 72) and the bolts are different, early has the 12 pt internal hex and the later one the hex head cap screw. There is a difference in the hinge itself which will tell you what you need. If the bolt hole on the hinge is counterbored you use the 12 pt internal hex, if not counterbored then it uses the standard hex cap screw.

'72 and earlier used an M8X15 pan head (internal hex)

'73 and later used the M8X15 hex.

Here's a pic of my '73 with the hex.

    Great info, thank you guys!

The hinges in mine are flat (not counterbored), so it´ll be M8x15´s then...

Many thank´s again, this is a GREAT place
