Anyone recognize this 16" wood wheel? It has B/C/9111/912 splines and accepts the stock horn buttons. The only marking on it is on the back of the bottom spoke, and it is very faint, prolly from being polished. What I can read is "FORMULING" or FORMULA. It looks identical to a period Nardi, but it`s not.

That's funny. We bought it because of our Elva, didn't even think there was a Porsche connection when I posted it here. Yes, would probably look nice in a 356.

Many of the Spyder wheels have those notches. A nice unique touch.

They were also a feature found on 'Carlotti' wood steering wheels - often fitted to British cars including Mini Cooper S, Jaguars, MGA, etc

Some mini Nardis I use as light switch pulls in my shop. They measure 105mm/4 1/8"..........my wood guy, Jeff McCabe, who did about 20 repro 16" wheels for me did these minis.

Formuling is a brand of aftermarket wheel from France. They can be quite nice. I have one that came on one of my Porsches.
