    new parking brake boots...good fit?

For those who have replaced the rubber parking brake boot, is the only alternative the superceded "923" part for 65-late 70s? I heard it doesn't fit earlier cars very well and I'm wondering what other choices there are- maybe some can comment on the fit?

    Thanks!

I put the new p/n in my '68 a few months ago. I do not think the fit is very good.

Doesn't the new one have slots for the defrost lever and hand throttle?

Yes, one slot is "pre-cut," the other slot you have to cut.
