Lime Rock Formula 1 Memorial Weekend 2009

The ex Derek Daly Guinness Rizla had a bit of a spin .... none the worse for wear, eventually

Karl, regarding the Daly driven car. After you guys left, I went back to take some pictures of the F1 cars without the crowds. After looking the cars over I think that at one time or another journeyman Derek drove at least half of the cars that were there.

Nice seeing you guys. And I did find the Turkish restaurant for dinner on my way home. The heartburn is much better today.

Fun day! the morning run down though rt 41 was great and the old diner was a trip, should have taken some pics of our cars in front of the old diner and railroad station - like a step back in time.
Thank you Frank for your hospitality with parking, etc.,
Nothing like the sound of those old F1 cars on the track.
Took the "Road less Traveled by, and it made all the difference", on the way home. Took me forever but what a great drive.
Once again a pleasure spending the day with good friends!
