    Cool Orange badge

Not mine, but kind of interesting for it to be made from a badge with lots of patina.

I think somebody is about to get burned. I asked the seller about that
    and this is his response:

this item is a vintage adhesive decal i can post there for 3 buck extra thanks
I believe that the badge picture is meant to be representative.

Uhm, yeah, it's a photo-realistic sticker (decal) of an early weathered hood badge. That's what his item description says.

Direct Quote- "This is an original ornament decal of a porche. decal can be applied almost anywhere. It measures 2.5 x 2 inches."

I don't see any deception or any reason for anyone to feel burned... ?? C'mon.

I'm just saying that I don't think the pictured item is a sticker.
Seems a little too 3 dimensional with the lighting and the shadows
matching... but what do I know?

Neat if they can be made to look so real. The sticker hood badges
I have seen in the past look really "toy".

In the ebay auction his photo is of a real badge, not a sticker. Even more misleading is his shipping costs which are $8.00 for a sticker that weighs close to nothing and fits in a small envelope....

And it is a really nice badge! Any gamblers out there?

His neg feedback reads "Bootleg Michael Jordan Rc sticker. Do no buy from this seller!!! BEWARE!!!"

I am pretty sure that this just a decal like he mentioned in the text if you see through the mist he created (on purpose).

    Just my $.02

I don't understand what the problem is. It is a photo image that is printed onto adhesive backed vinyl of some sort. You can put any photo onto bumpersticker material. How can that be misinterpreted?!

It's a STICKER. A sticker with a photo of a weathered early hood badge. How can that be misunderstood?! It's 2 dimensional. What makes you think there is something to beware of? ...unless of course, the sticker is anything other than what's pictured in his listing. Jeeze, just read the text.

That said, at $40 or so, I'm betting people didn't bother to read the description. Is this a literacy issue, or just plain laziness?

I like it though, and might just print up a few; for my car and anyone else. Should cost about 2 bucks each for a short run.
