Looking for 4.5" steelies date stamped late '66. Chromed ones in great shape would be perfect. Otherwise good straight wheels that I can have chromed would be fine. Thanks!
Cheers,
JohnA

John,
I just sold a car (that was also just resold on Ebay) that had 11/66 wheels. They needed to be rechromed. I will pm you the current owners info if you want to pursue. The car is/was in Concord, CA.

Got a great set of wheels at a great price - free. Tim Morris, the proprietor of German Master Tech, the shop here in Bend that does all my work, is giving me a nice set with proper dates off of an early 912 that he has. Thanks Tim!
Cheers,

I'd love to find one 4.5 painted KPZ steel wheel dated 8/66 for my car.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
