If the car is as represented that's a great buy. I would have bought it if I had gotten there in time.

Looks to be a $25,000 car at a minimum. Love the color combo. Even though I already have a swt, I'd have bought it in a heartbeat had I had the chance.

    Deja Vu

Less than a year ago a grey Softie 912 with red interior was listed here in Portland for an unreal price. Before I could get down on my knees and start begging for spousal permission it was gone.

It has to be the same car, nicht? I wonder what happened to the first deal.

    Brad,
I posted a similiar comment on the 912BBS this morning. I think I saw the car on Craiglist a few months before it showed up on Ebay. Again the color combo and being in Portland I'm certain it is the same car.

Good God, that is a gorgeous car. A tan interior would make it even more so....

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Generally don't like red interiors either, but somehow it's a perfect compliment to the gray. It would be the perfect car to park next to my coupe...if I had the space to park it next to my coupe.

Thankfully someone bought it so I don't have to think about it any more. While no one here has stepped forward and fessed up to buying it, I hope it went to a good home!
