Friends of Steve McQueen Car Show 6-6-09

Its that time again. Last year was a great turnout and it was lots of fun for a GREAT cause.

I am posting a letter I received from one of the promoters of the Show.

Hope to see another great turnout!

Hello everyone, the Friends of Steve McQueen Fundraiser for The Boy's Republic
is only two weeks away ( June 6th) and things are looking good!
There is a lot more interest from people wanting to bring in their cars this
year so I'm expecting quite a good turn out

We'll open the gates at 7 am. There is no pre-registration, just bring your
money and pay at the gate, Price is the same as last year, $20.00 for a car
that is going to be displayed and driver , plus $10.00 for each additional
passenger. If you're only coming to see the cars it's $10.00 per person and
children under 12 are free. There is plenty of free parking. Entrance is off
of Grand Ave exit west of the 71 Freeway.

We're going to have an event T-shirt for sale at $20.00 each. Matt Stone editor
of Motor trend Magazine will be there signing his book "McQueen's Machines a
Hollywood Icon" along with "Chad McQueen" Steve's son, I believe they are
$25.00. And, back by popular demand is the In-N-Out Burger Wagon.

I hope you can make it, all the money we raise will go directly to help the
Boy's Republic which is a great investment in the future for a lot of young
    boy's.

It's helps a LOT! Thanks. I always checked this forum for my info, now I'll check both. Unfortunately, I got myself in a silly business venture than now takes my Sat and Sun. I'm gonna ditch that as soon as I get my small investment back.
