    Low mileage '73S... w/ a V8???

Can this car be saved? I'm not up to it, but maybe of interest to someone here. Chassis number is 9113301277.

I bet that thing will swap ends quicker than a old-school turbo in a corner with a Dr. at the wheel.

If I was looking for a car to restore and did not mind finding a non-matching engine, I think this looks like a good value.

    Ad info saved for history:

    "1973 Porsche 911-S Renegade V-8 - $17000 (Grants Pass, OR)

I am selling my 1973 Porsche. It has a renegade converstion kit from Las Vegas. 450 Horse Power, 331 Chevy. It was custom built by Performance Engines. Rull roller motor. The car ONLY has 66,473 original miles. The car, inside and out, is in excellent condition. The rear wing and front nose needs to be painted."

+1 about value, depending on how it looks in the metal. Plus, you've got a 450 horse GM V-8 to plunk into something more suitable, like a 944 or a 914 with huge box fenders.

Wink $17,000 worth of fun as it sits.

Oh if I had $17k to piss away right now I'd buy this thing JUST to drive it to the Rally in the Valley. Imagine the look on Weldon's face as we all took turn doing tire smokin donuts in it in the big parking lot across the street from G&W before the cops showed up. Of course we would make sure Chuck was in it and Erik was NOT when the flashing lights appear from around every corner. We know Chuck can luck his way out of this kind of trouble.
