    Monterey Historics 2009

    Anyone receive a notice about acceptance to this years event ? They were suppose to be in the applicants hands today.

    John,

    If you mean the notice of acceptance to participate as a car owner or driver entered in the Historic races... As of today... NOT YET. I have a friend who has entered as a returning driver for his client who has 4 cars submitted... and so far, as of this morning, NO WORD.

    Yes thanks thats what I meant. Thru the grapevine out of 438 Porsche entries only 130 were accepted. Hard to believe how many would get the nod in a non Porsche marque year.

    Interesting stat John....

    To clarify my last post, none of the cars my friend's client entered are Porsches... 2 Alfas, 1 AC, and 1 OSCA
