    WTD 67S Side Decos

    Hi all.
I am looking for a pair of 67 911S side decos to finish off the restoration of a 67 911S RHD Sunroof Coupe. I have a few things that I can trade towards the decos. They do not need to be concours but nice driver will work great. Let me know what you have.

    PS.
I am also in need of a SWB spark plug socket for the tool kit.

    Cheers, Jim

I looked for ages for a nice pair. Instead we made some, not 100% perfect but looks ok. They were only fitted yesterday so I will get some pics next week if it helps.

    Hi,

Here is what we made. These started life as LWB S trims (ie the larger ones which cover the whole lower sill). They were cut down to the correct length and the bottom section removed. The ends were closed using a small trimmed section tig welded on. Then fully polished and re-anodised.

They are not a perfect match but until a NOS pair turn up they will do for now.

    Hope it helps

    Alan

These look very nice! Maybe I"ll do the same if I come over a set of lwb rockerplates. I have tried to find the 67S rocker trim for some years now, and here in Norway I guess there are not one car that have the correct ones. I have NOS S-trim for the front fender and NOS rubber and used trim for the rear, so it would be nice to have the rocker trim as well, even if it is not 100% right.

Nice color on your car by the way, what is the code?

    Best, Kjell T

    Hi,

The narrow trim (ie none S) are still avalible new from Porsche and there are after market reproductions made. I am sure someone will reproduce the wide S trim specific to the 67S soon.

I believe mine is the narrow, non-S trim.

I also have a 67S and I was wondering how your RHD 67S ended up in the States? I am sure you know that there were very few RHD 67S's delivered to the UK and I think I have traced most of the VIN's. Would it be possible to know if your's is a UK car and let me know the VIN for my records ? (you can pm me if you prefer).
