    2.2 fan housings

    Hello All:
I have been told that there are two versions for the 2.2L fan housing. What
is the difference? Is it the dimension from axises of the crank to the
alternator shaft or the mounting depth of the alternator to the centerline plane of the crank pulley?
    Thanks in Advance

Not true of the 2,2 fan housing, they are all the same. 2,0 is different than 2,2 and the 2,2 is different from the 2,7 and later ones are also different.

Only the 2,0 has a larger diameter fan

All others are different because the alternators got thicker and the distance from the mounting flange to the pulley centerline changed.
