    904 Owner's Manual

I need help identifying what I believe to be an owner's manual for the 904 Carrera. It is dated 12/63 and printed in Germany. I'd welcome comments and a referral to someone knowledgeable on Porsche literature.

    Thanks,

    Rob

I think this must be a very rare driver's manual. Since they made just over one hundred 904, I would imagine only a handful manuals or so have survived today.

Call Jim Perrin. Jim is a literature guy he happens to put on the LA lit show with P kelley. Better yet he owns an original paint/int etc. 904 GTS. The car was just here in Jackson WY at Bill Doyles Rennwagen for an engine rebuild and some other work. Jim is a great guy I'm sure he would talk to you about the manual. Steve Shea S Reg. #2

In one of the older 356 registries (2 years ago?) Prescott Kelly wrote an article about them. There were 3 kind of owner manuals, and probably in a few languages as well. They are less rare than what most think. OEM owners manuals start at about $400.

    Just my $.02
