    Jack finish experts needed.

    Hi Guys,
    Bought a rusty jack for my 67 on ebay and put an hour or two into cleaning it up. I wanted to confirm final finishes with those in the know. The two ratcheting parts are silver cad/zink? Can anyone point me in the right direction to the correct blue paint for the base, I think Im close but its hard to tell.
    Thanks

    I believe that Don Marks (OR) restores these. May be you can find a picture of his products?

    The blue on my unrestored jack is deeper than that shown. It's also a bit more on the transparant side if you catch my meaning.

    jack finish

    So I found pictures of these two jacks, they look the same except the base color. So the darker blue is correct for 67? The jack that I worked on had a litte of the original light blue paint left on it, similar to the color I painted it.

    Picture on the right looks more like the color of mine. I bought it for my 70 and was told the jack came out of either a 69 or 70 because those were the years of two cars this gentleman had owned in the past.

    blue=targa

    I recall a post by a true 67S expert that said the blue base jack was a targa jack. I did not take the post as being tongue in check. Anyone want to chime in?
