    Season Storage Ideas

    Now that the weather has turned bad (Austin not LA) and we can no longer drive our cars please offer up your long term storage ideas

    Its still a 100 degrees at 10pm and pushing 90 at 9AM

    ow! should be in the 90s in daytime and down to 70 at night, but...

    fill the tank with fresh ags; change the oil and let it sit on a battery float type maintainer

    there is more on Pelican if you use the search terms long + storage

    but most is based on cold weather (i.e. condensation, etc.)

    My Plan

    a good wash and wax careful with the water
    fill the tank/add Staybil
    a good run and change the oil/filter
    ad a bit more air to the tires
    park on ruibber pads
    hook up battery tender

    On the road by Halloween

    I put mine on jack stands if longer than a couple of months saves the tires and probably good for suspension as well.
