Sealing instructions service bulletins 911 Coupe and Targa

The instructions concerning the Coupe is a set of three bulletins about eliminating water leaks. The first one is 13/65, it identifies several points on the cover page, then addresses each of them in the next three pages, with pictures, showing areas affected, giving points of entry and the remedy. The fifth page is recommendations on where to get the materials needed. The next is 18/65, it addresses a few more points in the same manner. They did not get around to “under the hood crest”. I’m digressing again. The third and final one in the set is 21/65, it basically says that drilling a couple of holes in the floor pan as described in 18/65 is such a good idea that it should be done to all cars when they come in for any kind of service. $100

The next bulletin for sale is 5/68, “emergency action to prevent water entry, wind roar and rustling noises on the “targa”.

It says that you can replace the top with a newer, lighter one, gives part numbers for both, says that you can put a fixed, I assume glass, window into cars from certain chassis numbers, it gives the numbers, to give you an idea of how much foresight I have I did that a number of years ago to a 68 and threw away the soft window and all the parts. Anyhow, this gives about two and a half pages of instructions to quiet/seal the car, gives part numbers where needed, and has a final page with photographs of figures referenced in the instructions. $75

This next one is 10/67, it details how to replace the zipper in the rear window of a Targa. This is three pages, the cover, a page of instructions, and a page with photographs of figures referenced in the instructions. $75
