    Thanks for that great link.

    The consistently high quality of the photos is very impressive indeed. These aren't just random shots. You can see the effort that went into each photograph........exposure, composition, color saturation, depth of field, white balance, etc.

    It's awfully nice to see that the prevailing attitude on all seven pages of the link seems to be " if it's not good enough to post...........DON"T !"

    I've noticed that as well on the DDK site. "Ferry Man" seems to be either a very talented novice or an aspiring professional as he posts images and not just pictures - big difference. He poses each subject in an interesting way to provoke the imagination. The overcast conditions, very often present in the UK, work to enhance the color saturation and overall richness of the image. I suspect that he that crops and adjusts each shot in PS before posting for maximum impact and to highlight his photography skills. Finally, a robust set of camera gear and a pricy sensor enhance his craft.
