'69 911S at Auto Show in NC

This 1969 911S was at a recent car show I went to in Raleigh, NC. This guy was the original owner. The price on the window sticker was $8600.

    Thumbs up

Looks like it might have been a cover car on an early issue of our ESSES... yes?

Well Optioned with rear fog lights, rear wiper and 2 pair of front fog lights. Where was the car show held. I missed it. Is the owner a member here? I would like to meet him/her.

Wow, that is a beauty. It's hard to imagine that someone has kept a car for 40 years. I noticed the 1969 NC tag. It must be a trailered car?

    I believe so

He said he was going to take it to the car show in Hilton Head and then retire it. I thought all show cars were retired.

Also, he mentioned it was 2nd place car in the country or something like that. He did not give further details.

    roane3,

If the car was ever registered with the S Registry we can look it up with guy's name or the Chassis # ......

In fact it DOES look like it was a 'cover car' on the ESSES... I can look it up.......
