That BIN will establish a new cycle low for a nice '73 S. One of the many cliches that learned as a broker - "Just because they're cheap doesn't mean they won't get cheaper".

If this keeps up there's going to be a massive European invasion.

The funny thing, when 72/73s cars were regularly seen at $70,000++ there were many who wanted these cars "if only" they were less expensive and we heard of all the "should have" bought stories. Now that some cars are priced much lower they are still not finding buyers (and this goes with all models). These guys will sit on the sidelines until prices go back up. The Sheep Cycle. I find it puzzling. Buy the cars that you like especially now that the prices are lower. They will all be back up in price and or out of the country. If too many cars leave think how high prices will be here next go around.

When might that be? After we're sipping our lunch through a straw is my bet. My guess is asset prices accross the board are not going back to the levels of before for a VERY long time. I really don't see how they can unless hyperinflation kicks in.

I agree with everything else said though. Buy the car you like. Who cares what it's worth? That's why it's called a hobby and not a business--at least for most of us.

Boy Don, you nailed it down. Sit on the sidelines and comment about high prices, then do nothing when the price is right. Guys like that aren't real buyers just lookie-lews. Good call.
