    Neck 's sore + got a killer head-ache --- but I had a CT scan done already . . . = no breaks or leaks

Have to admit, though --- brilliant piece of driving by The Other Guy

Just check-out those skid-marks! . . . Knucklehead tracked me all the way across the intersection into the opposite lane

If I'd been a few feet further along? --- another fraction of a second, maybe? . . .

    . . . that 2 feet of twist at the front? --- could've been 2 feet through my door . . .

    . . . and I prolly wouldn't be writing any of this tonight . . .

    . . . or maybe ever

    . . . BOOM!

Got spun around ~90 degrees. The Other Guy continued on for a few yards, then pulled over on the right shoulder

Smaller car, '03 Toyota Corolla --- probably around the same size/weight as my BMW, but . . .

. . . most of what was forward of my little BMW's A-pillar was now twisted a coupla feet to the right of where it started-out when we left the garage this morning

And all this damage happened AFTER The Other Guy had already skidded about 100 meters to the point of contact

The only reason his car stopped at all? . . .

If white is the single best shade to blend in body work.. some yard parts, a good welder, offers a nice shot at restoring it.

Well it's fun to be able to play with some of the old cars I always wanted.

Glad to hear you're ok, Rick. Who else would post all those colorful (font) reviews of car shows??? Eager to read your account of dealing with the other guy's insurance company.

I got my other car before the recent price spurt, so well under $10K. Figured you'd approve.
