Midwest Swap Meet. And MORE June 27th.

Hey guys I have been working for a few months with a few other 356 and 911 guys to put together an excellent Midwest Swap meet and Car show. Focus on the swap meet. So far the response has been excellent!! I wanted to make sure that all of the fellow S registry members know about this. It's taking place June 27th in Lake Geneva Wisconsin.

So far we have quite a few acres and 3 large parking lots dedicated to this event , the town of Geneva are going to be closing the side road for even more space. Its open to all Porsches, VWs, BMWs, and other European makes. Primary Focus is on Porsche. Used Parts Swap space is free for the first 10x10 space. We have 100 spaces and the ability to open up some more. so far 30+ Parts guys have confirmed space. At first we were thinking around 50 to 75 cars now it looks to be a bit more than that if all goes well.

Lots of sponsors and lots of free goodies. If anyone is interested check out the site at : www.thelakeaffair.com All of the details are there.

The turnout should be incredible. Grab your boxes of parts and come down for the day, there should be more than enough goodies to make it extremely interesting! I'm bringing close to 2 Uhaul Trucks worth of 911 stuff and 356 stuff. There are alot of Confirmed 356 guys and parts coming too.

I hope to see alot of you there. It should be excellent. Lets get the S Registry to represent!!

Another update for the June 27th Show.

Lots of confirmed Used Parts vendors. Should be around 100+ cars at the rate things are going! The majority will be Porsche but I have heard some confirmations from a few VW Clubs and BMW crowds. Should be excellent!!

Lots of cool free giveaways for the early guys too. There will be a special lot for S Registry members, but it is limited in space!

    See you all June 27th!

    Jon,

Sounds like a good event; I plan on attending. I will load up the Jp with just a few parts.

Saturday will be an excellent Day, Its going to be a huge event. I have close to 30 confirmed parts vendors and we will probably see 100-150 cars. The police will be out directing traffic too! Personally I think it's a scam on their they say I have to have them out there for safety but its BS they are there to make sure no racing or street dragging is taken place. Im serious they think that the Porsche's will cause mayhem on the roads.

We have to PAY the police to help us saturday. Its a bunch of BS but hey its going to be excellent so it's worth it. If nothing takes place or goes wrong its refundable! How funny is that!

We have 2 large tents for the first few parts peddlers, one is 20x30 and the other is 15x20.

We will have water and plenty of beverages and food on site.

If you show up with a car you are automatically entered into a raffle, for some pretty nice prizes. One of the best are a pair of MK Polished Track Mufflers!! They were dropped off today and my god they are beautiful. I want a pair badly!!

Bathrooms are nice and clean and the food being provided is awesome and inexpensive too.

Im thinking the 356 guys will outweigh the 911 guys so lets try to change that. I've heard rumors of the 356 crowd claiming to hold the majority saturday. We can't let that happen. !

I look forward to seeing you guys I will make sure to wear my I AM JON shirt!

    See you all saturday!
