Yes the date is set....Saturday September 12th. It is the weekend after Labor day. No excuses now...put it on you calendar. Details will be forthcoming but wanted to get this out there. This event is organized by Jon in Delaware (1965 911 race car) and is open to a range of marques.

OK all...here is an Update. The date is still set for Sept 12th and the starting location is the same as always. The very first exit in Maryland just past the Delaware line into Maryland. The location is the Iron Skillet in the truck stop parking lot on the North bound side of I-95. Can someone who knows the location and knows how post a Mapquest/google map link?
The theme of this years event is....Battle of the Brandywine. We will be driving many of the roads that parallel the historic events that culminated in the Battle that took place the day of September 11th and ended on September 12th 1777. How coincidental is this!!! We are mapping out a route and coming up with questions that all revolve around the battle. For the uninitiated General Howe landed his British troops near Elkton Maryland having traveled up the Chesapeake Bay. He marched his troops across what is now Newark Delaware to eventually do battle with George Washington and crew in and around Chadds Ford PA. Our route will take us in and around many of the battlefields. Plan on arriving at the starting location by 10 AM. We will journey for two or three hours gathering clues and driving awesome backroads and culminating near the Dilworthtown Inn near the intersection of Dilworthtown Road and Rt 202 in PA.
