    oil tank to cooler hose

I replaced mine (on a '67) with Stoddard part #901-107-301-12 (#4 in upper left pic) and it seems to hang very low, to a point where it is about 6 inches off the ground.
Seems like it is too long.
Anyone else use that replacement part and notice that ?

    John,

There are two lines 901.107.301.13 and the one you got 901.107.301.12. that might be the problem your having. I think you got the oil line for a 69> LWB car. The interesting part is that the parts diagram know only shows one line.

A little more digging on my end shows the SWB line is NLA and has been replaced withe LWB line.

    I have both the .12 and .13

Man I hate &#@*%$ Stoddard - are there ANY parts they claim will work for '65 -'68 cars that actually fit !!!!! ??????

So what do you good people use ? Any one else change that line ?

No one else with a '65 - '68 car has had to change their 40 year old lines ???

    Tom:
That's what I was looking for but would prefer a fresh line.
Is it possible to replace the hose on that part ?

Arrow oil tank to cooler hose

You should be able to unscrew the hose ends and replace the hose with
whatever length you want. I've done it before on a 916 I used to own.

    Hi John,

I can make you the correct line using your original fittings. I have the correct Cohline hose and tools to rebuild your oil line.

This thread has some good info, http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ad.php?t=26299

Please let me know if I can help.

    Best regards,

    Brad

    Tom:

Thanks, that would be great - I would be interested in picking up one from you.
The one I am replacing is a replacement that started weeping.
    I'll send you a pm.

And if necessary (if it is doable) I could have Brad replace the hose.

    Thanks you guys.
