My thoughts exactly. I can't see somebody posting here and "barking" not to respond here. BS. Go somewhere else if you don't like us enough to have your goods discussed in an open forum.

I suppose it's nice to set prices and claim things are sold to set "trends".

    I think you guys misunderstood.

    Bob's a good guy...

He simply wants you to email him directly rather than doing PM's, or answering that "you'll take it" on this web-board.

That way he has only one contact place he has to worry about checking, rather than here, pelican, samba, 356registry, etc. and then figure out who replied first, at what time, etc.

It was a really nice kit... but my funding right now was/is limited.

Bob might be a good guy (if you know him) but I think his approach/ the way he uses this site is not appreciated.

    Just my observation.

I don't see how his approach differs at all.from Don Ahern (porsport), he sold parts the exact same way by having you email him for pics. I don't see what the big deal is..... I simply emailed him and had several pic within a half an hour. And yes I do know Bob from the 356 Registry.

I don't see why people are getting upset, cause he's not posting a picture and it takes a couple of extra steps?

Or is it because you're all just itchin for an opportunity to cast aspersions on someones expensive parts?

FWIW, I am just a hair short of asking folks not to respond to my ads on this site. I only get about half the thread replies for some oddball reason.

Sounds like a softwear problem.... or it could be the operator, or both! (sorry, I really couldn't help it.....).
