WTB: Engine No. 6221285 or another 72E motor

I'm looking for the needle in the haystack: Engine no. 6221285 for the 72E chassis that I have. I would love to reunite the motor with the car. Car was purchased by me in Austin, TX, and may have previously been in Maryland and California. Alternatively, another 72 E block would also work. Thanks

Still looking. Any leads for a 2.4 E motor are appreciated. Thanks

I have a fresh 911/52 available. I installed 2.2E pistons and brand new Mahle steel cylinders. Has MFI cam. Currently on engine stand, can't decide if I want to put it back in a 67S with Webers. Drop me a PM with a phone number and we can talk off-line. This engine is very quick and should be faster off the line than a 2.4S. I actually think a 2.4S would have a hard time keeping up with this engine. Lots of torque in any gear. Can't say the same about the 2.4S.

    72 E engine

I have an unstamped case that came out of a 73E. It is a 4r/5r case that has no serial #'s stamped on it. Probably a replacement. It appears standard and in very good condition. $400. You can email me at jjmohler@msn.com.
