Gauging interest in new J & O gearsets.

    I'm thinking of having a run of J 3rd and O 4th gears
made up. Perfect for your short airfield racing gearbox.

    J 21:23
    O 23:28

Price will be around $520USD per each set shipped to the US.
    Just to be clear that's $1040 for a J and an O.

Any ratio possible, just that these are the ones I want.

    Any interest? email me andy@halogix.com

Don't know lead times yet but be sure the more interest
I get the faster the facility will be able to process the
    order.

Andy, "O" aren't that rare because they come in AGAOVZA 911 boxes-- the "J" is the rare gear and I would definitely be interested in buying a "J." (I already have an "O".)

    How large is your kingdom?

So what are we talking about in terms of the size? I have a solution for you, but it will require quite a bit of modifications to your car to actually get it to work.

    G50/20 shortened bellhousing
    Hydrolic throw out bearing
    Tilton Clutch
    Tilton Flywheel
    G50 Starter
    RSR coil over rear suspension

Cost - If you have to ask, you probably don't want to know, unfortunately.

    Driving experience - Priceless

Hey it's Friday, just trying to lighten the mood before the weekend, but realistically, IT COULD BE DONE, bah hahahaha

    Have a great weekend all,

    Almost forgot,

I have 'J' 3rd gearsets in stock currently, if you are serious about getting one. I have three of them currently in stock.

I can not extend the same pricing unfortunately, but I can send them out at $695.00 plus shipping if anyone is interested.

    Have a good one all,

PS. Not to be a killjoy, but I know of only one company in Australia, that would be able to make these gears for you. They, I am pretty sure, have an agreement, NOT WITH ME, unfortunately, to sell their products here in the US. We all have to get them from the same company. Ah Capitalism at it's best and worst, I guess, depending on which side you are on.

Actually there are two, I'm sure you'll hear about the better
    one soon enough. ;-)

John, I'm looking to do O 4th gear, not 3rd.
As for J 3rd, I don't think I've ever seen one for sale.

You could also source a G50/31. I also know someone who has done the install.

Not for the faint of heart, nor a weekend swap.

My apologies for the off topic, back to O's and J's

FYI, The 'J' 3rd gear was available from Porsche however, it was exceedingly rare. 901/77, 901/82, and 911/82 all had it, but when you compare that to the rest of the 901, 914, and 911 gears made and used, then you begin to understand why it is so hard to find one.

Hence the reason we had them made.

I am curious what the new company building 901 gears would be called though. Care to share?

    Thanks all,
