    Baja Cantina During Monterey Week

    The Mag. "Classic Motorsports" does this every year.

    Baja Cantina Monterey Kickoff Party
    Aug. 13 – 7166 Carmel Valley Rd., Carmel, CA
    Join us a our magazine’s Monterey weekend kickoff part Thursday evening at the Baja Cantina Grill & Filling Station. The parking lot will be packed with neat cars and plenty of good food and cold drinks will be available.

    They have a car show at the Catina every Thursday night, 6-9pm. with $7 BBQ.

    I went last year...pretty cool. Are any of you guys going to this?

    Definitely plan ahead, and definitely pay attention to what time it is...Placed is JAMMED PACKED all Historics weekend. I suspect during the pre-historics it gets a little easier to handle...I made the mistake of going there at a peak time last year (I think) during Historics weekend...and the only way I got a seat was due to the fact I was alone and sorta wedged my way into the bar...

    It really is a cool place with great food - don't worry too much about how long things take, as there's plenty of cool automobilia to look at...

    I just hate being in really seriously crowded spaces. The Cantina would make a great stop on an R gruppe run or something.

    On Wednesday night, I understand that some of the people from "Excellence Mag" will be at Baja Cantina. It may be worth a cruise by after dinner at Chateau Julien Winery.
